Introduction
In a world affected by poverty and inequality, many individuals and families in Pakistan and UK struggle to meet their basic needs and live with dignity.
In response to these challenges, RIUK is making great effort to support those most in need. Through programmes focused on Clean Water, Sewing and Skills Training, IT Education, Health Awareness and Employability Skills, we aim to improve lives and create lasting opportunities for individuals and communities.
Alongside our current work, RIUK has previously supported a range of vital projects.
These include; sending ambulances to areas in need, installing hand pumps to provide access to clean water, contributing towards education centres, refurbishing community facilities and providing food to people facing poverty and hardship.
With the support of our donors, volunteers and partners, RIUK offers hope to vulnerable people by reducing suffering, promoting equality and supporting communities to build a better future.
The success of our work is only possible through the generosity and commitment of those who share our vision. We actively seek funding, resources and expertise to ensure the continued delivery and growth of our projects, allowing us to support even more people across Pakistan and UK.
Message from M. Sarwar (Chair – RIUK)
RIUK is making real progress in improving the lives of people in need. By visiting local communities in Pakistan, we have seen the challenges people face and identified key areas of need, including access to clean water, skills training, health awareness, education and employability opportunities.
Our team of professionals, volunteers and partners work together to deliver practical solutions that create lasting change. By using our shared skills and resources, we are able to reach more individuals and communities who need support.
With the help of our supporters, RIUK is building a society where people have their basic needs met, learn about their health, and gain skills that support them throughout their lives. Together, we can make a meaningful difference and transform lives in Pakistan, one act of kindness at a time.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee at RIUK is a group of committed volunteers who believe strongly in our work. Drawing on experience in areas such as finance, marketing, fundraising and project management, they freely give their professional skills, time and guidance to help the charity grow and better support people living in poverty.
